This specimen is a finest grade fossil tooth of a mosasaur called Prognathodon sp. from the Oulad Abdoun Basin of Morocco. It was dug from the mines comprising the Maastrichtian phosphates of the Ganntour Basin (Morocco). Matrix is original to the tooth and includes other various associated teeth, bones and coprolites.
