This RARE Brontops sp. molar tooth is an extremely fine quality example of this magnificent giant beast of the Oligocene. The complete root is present with a portion of the jaw bone still attached. High grade teeth such as this specimen are exceptionally rare and seldom offered for sale. Tooth roots have been repaired with cracks filled but crown is intact and natural in color and features. Color and enamel contrast is gorgeous and very well preserved. Definitely a rare and recommended fossil mammal tooth! This is the only fine grade molar tooth we have offered for sale in years! These are very hard to come by and this specimen originates from a very old American collection. This tooth is IMMEASURABLY MORE rare than the finest possible Mammoth or Mastodon tooth yet for a price considerably less than those teeth sell for! This is the ONLY one we have for sale.
