SEE MORE DELTADROMEUS DINOSAUR FOSSILS
Collected long ago when the Kem Kem deposits (now nearly devoid of good dinosaur material) once produced spectacular dinosaur fossils, this is a supreme quality dinosaur tooth from the large, swift meat-eater Deltadromeus agilis. With much of the dinosaur fossil remains in this area now completely dug out and large parts of the formation leveled, it is likely that teeth like this will now be found mainly in older collections as this one was in. This is an POSTERIOR position tooth (from the back of the jaw) where the teeth are shorter, stouter and have a more robust cross-sectional profile.
This stunning example features a complete original crown with top preservation. The serrations are excellent and the enamel is a rich, mix of warm orange and golden hues.
