CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT SEA LILIES (CRINOIDS)
This is an EXTREMELY IMPRESSIVE museum-grade specimen of TWO sea lilies (crinoids) Encrinus lilliformis, from the Triassic Period of the Alverdissen deposits. The size is the maximum found and the detail is incredible! Each is preserved in solid calcite with stunning, full 3D detail and anatomy. The preparation work that went into this piece to remove all the rock between the arms and stem sections to the level that is seen, was extremely time-consuming but yielded a fascinating display example. For the best collections or exhibits, this is an ideal candidate specimen of TWO beautifully preserved Triassic crinoids! NO FABRICATION OR RESTORATION. Typical repair but no fabrication of missing parts. Both crinoids are 100% AUTHENTIC.
