The famous Cretaceous Kem Kem Red Beds in North Africa are well-known for a host of prehistoric vertebrate fossils. This region in the Northern Sahara, was once a fertile floodplain teeming with all sorts of prehistoric life including dinosaurs and other land reptiles, flying pterosaurs, sharks and fish.
This is the last of this genuine fossil material we have and it is made up of mostly the smallest fragments found in that region. There is literally everything in here! They are mostly fragments of dinosaur and other reptile bones and teeth, with occasional bones and armor scales from prehistoric sharks and very large fish. There are fossil coprolites, as well. Perfect for jewelers, shops, teachers, schools, civic groups, gifts or kids fossil hunts. Each piece is natural and uncleaned, as found. For those starting out learning fossil cleaning and preparation, these pieces would be perfect for practicing.
