This set of THREE fossil Rutiodon teeth is from a little known prehistoric reptile from the Triassic Period. Rutiodon was a member of the Angistorhininae group of phytosaurs and was a large, stout and powerful reptile of the Triassic.
All teeth are COMPLETE and intact with a sharp tip, and beautifully preserved. Enamel is a stunning warm mix of colors and is naturally lustrous. NO RESTORATION OR REPAIR. Triassic vertebrate fossils are RARE so this is a definite recommendation for a diversified collector wanting only the best material!
