The famous Cretaceous Kem Kem Red Beds in North Africa are well-known for a host of prehistoric vertebrate fossils. This region in the Northern Sahara, was once a fertile floodplain teeming with all sorts of prehistoric life including dinosaurs and other land reptiles, flying pterosaurs, sharks and fish.
This is a collection of genuine fossils found in that region. The treat in this specific group is a fragment from the end of the snout of a gavial crocodile, which shows open sockets for teeth. They are mostly fragments of dinosaur and other reptile bones and teeth, with occasional bones and armor scales from prehistoric sharks and very large fish.
