The extinct Carcharocles angustidens species of shark is the first in the lineage of extinct Great White Sharks and is considered the second generation of giant White sharks preceding the notorious C. megalodon shark. This shark shows features of its teeth that later Meg dropped, namely, the cusplets flanking the crown.
This is a large top grade Angustidens tooth with nice colors and serrations. It is complete and unbroken with both intact side cusplets. This size is considered at the top end for these sharks. The root is superb and complete. The naturally lustrous enamel is accentuated by the beautiful jet black root and bourlette. Very minor natural feeding wear along sides and base but tip is not broken or chipped. Not many Angustidens teeth are this nice. NO RESTORATION OR REPAIR.
