Product Description
This is a set of THREE choice grade complete fossil teeth of a Halisaurus mosasaur from the Oulad Abdoun Basin of Morocco. They was dug from the mines comprising the Maastrichtian phosphates of the Ganntour Basin (Morocco). Both display a beautiful naturally lustrous enamel and sharp tip.
Over twenty years ago, we originated the phrase that "Mosasaurs were the T. rex of the Cretaceous seas". No truer statement could be made - they were ideal hunter-killers of their marine environment and had no equal!
