Product Description
These three ceramic ancient ear spools date back to the Pre-Columbian period of Central America. They are all of the finest preservation and condition, showing wonderful detail and workmanship, the middle one displaying rare incised designs. These are likely from a Pre-Columbian tribe of Mexico but attributing to a specific tribe by the spools' appearance alone, is not possible. For collectors of ancient body adornment or even for wearing, these are INTACT and UNBROKEN specimens, ALL ARE WEARABLE STILL! Two show intact black glazing while one shows an original blood red burnished color, still present and in original form. All three show microscopic mineral and sediment deposits - traits ONLY found in authentic specimens.
