This is a fine quality Paralejurus sp. trilobite fossil prepared on its original limestone host rock with exquisite detail and excellent preservation.  The trilobite displays the short genal spines, the squared off front of the cephalon, and the fine reticulated surface that is characteristic of the Type B Paralejurus.  The trilobite appears as if it is crawling over the rock in a life-like manner.  Similar to all trilobites found in the world, the only way these  fossils are located is to break the trilobite-bearing rock therefore, repair and some restoration to the damage is unavoidable.
