INTACT, NICE FOSSIL TOOTH FROM A CROCODILE THAT LIVED ALONGSIDE T. REX!
This is a excellent specimen of Leidyosuchus, the predominant crocodile found in the Hell Creek Formation. It is a top-grade example with all the positive traits one looks for. This fossil tooth came from a crocodile that lived alongside T. rex in the famous Hell Creek Formation of Northwestern U.S.A.. It is of typical size as these creatures only attained lengths of just over 3 feet. Based on the diminutive size of the species in the Hell Creek Formation, perhaps, the presence of massive meat-eating theropods kept their size down in order for them to survive amidst dangerous dinosaurs such as Nanotyrannus and Tyrannosaurus rex. It is INTACT WITH NO REPAIR AND NO RESTORATION. A great addition to a well-diversified collection or a perfect way to start a fossil tooth collection from one of the most desired sites in the fossil world
