Fossil Great White shark teeth from the U.S.A. of a fine grade, are uncommon in the marketplace and do not seem to be found by fossil hunters as much as Megalodon teeth. It seems that during the reign of C. megalodon, the Great White shark, C. carcharias, was keeping a low profile and for a good reason, Megalodon was much larger with just as bad an attitude if not worse. Fossil GREAT WHITE SHARK teeth from the United States are very difficult to find in large sizes and in excellent, complete preservation. Furthermore, there are even many more Megalodon fossil shark teeth found than Great White fossil shark teeth in U.S.A. deposits making such teeth a prize to collect and display when offered for sale.
This is a spectacular INVESTMENT GRADE Great White shark fossil tooth possessing every trait that makes for an incredibly rare and desirous fossil Great White (Carcharias) shark tooth. Most importantly, it is from NORTH America and not to be confused with large quantity of SOUTH AMERICAN Great White teeth that have come to market over the years. Finding prehistoric fossil Great White shark teeth in North America are rare in ANY condition but to find one IN THIS CONDITION is rarer than finding a 6 inch Megalodon tooth! This is THE PRIMARY upper jaw center tooth of the shark!
Great White fossil shark teeth that are beyond the 2 inch mark are NOT common and this one measures in at 2.2 inches! The enamel is a gorgeous charcoal metallic blue black. This is a magnificent NATURAL luster, not dipped or coated in a clear sealer or oil as some sellers do. This is one of the nicest, heavily serrated Great White fossil shark teeth we have offered. The needle-sharp tip and meat saw serrations are crisp and well-preserved with the slightest feeding wear. Rarely do you find Great White fossil shark teeth with serrations and a tip of this degree of preservation and intactness. This tooth is a MUST for fossil shark tooth collectors of the finest specimens. Far more rare than a Megalodon tooth of equal quality. There is NO REPAIR AND NO RESTORATION.
We do not clear-coat or enhance our teeth in any way. These Great White Shark fossil teeth are becoming harder and harder to find in really nice and complete condition and are FAR MORE RARE than the South American teeth that flooded the market in the past years. VERY highly recommended for the collector of the fine quality fossil shark teeth.
