Product Description
Collected long ago when the Kem Kem deposits (now nearly devoid of good dinosaur material) once produced spectacular dinosaur fossils, this is a supreme quality dinosaur tooth from the large, swift meat-eater Deltadromeus agilis. Fossil teeth of this quality are very hard to locate now and it has been many, many years since we have seen teeth of this quality. With much of the dinosaur fossil remains in this area now completely dug out and large parts of the formation leveled, it is likely that teeth like this will now be found mainly in older collections as this one was in.
This stunning example features a complete original crown with supreme preservation. The serrations are well preserved and intact. The enamel is a rare light gold hue. A tooth like this represents one of the highest possible qualities one can hope to find in these ULTRA RARE dinosaur teeth. One of the last ones we have from an old acquisition made many years ago.
