This region in the Northern Sahara, was once a fertile floodplain teeming with all sorts of prehistoric life including dinosaurs and other land reptiles, flying pterosaurs, sharks and fish.
This is a collection of genuine fossils found in that region. They are mostly fragments of dinosaur and other reptile bones, with occasional bones and armor scales from prehistoric sharks and very large fish, as well as carapace fragments from extinct turtles.
