These CAPSIAN TRADITION arrowheads were found on an exposed African Neolithic site in the Sahara Desert in Mali, Northwest Africa.  Each was masterfully fashioned by African Neolithic humans (Homo sapiens sapiens) between 8,500 and 6,500 years ago.  The projectile points selected to make up this weapon set were hand-selected based on their premium features and condition from thousands of inferior quality artifact specimens.

This set of MICRO-ARROWHEAD projectile points includes three types that would have not only been used for hunting small game, but are similar to the type used in human warfare.   They are all GEM QUALITY RED COLORED jasper and flint - beautiful specimens of different typologies!  As referenced below, excavated prehistoric skeletons have been found to have died from numerous wounds of projectile points like these.  It is even theorized that these points were poisoned prior to use in war. All have original sharp tips and superb barbs.  These are TOP-GRADE, hand-selected specimens of the finest workmanship and form.  Superb patina and wind sheen can be seen from exposure.  Price is a bargain considering published price guide values and auction results.  NO RESTORATION, NO REPAIR.
