The  Kolihapeltis chlupaci trilobite was a bizarre creature of the ancient seas.  Its long and graceful sweeping spines projecting off its head give it an added grace that many spiny trilobites did not have.  The demand for authentic  Kolihapeltis specimens is very strong and they are always in VERY limited supply. 

If you have been holding out for a supreme quality example of this rare trilobite with all spines free-standing, present AND GENUINE, then this is a highly recommended specimen.  This  Kolihapeltis chlupaci exhibits a spectacular outstretched pose and stunning warm olive color which is natural!  Every spine on the head has been exposed and is freely prepared as the trilobite was when alive.   All spines on the cephalon have been exposed and are free-standing.  Inferior specimens have all these broken off or replaced with fake spines.  Beware of bargain-priced examples that resemble prepared trilobites with free-standing spines.  Entirely fake or real trilobites with fake spines can be had for a fraction of the price of one like this with the genuine spines.   This is a  RARE  and complete, genuine specimen.  Color is natural and host rock is original.  A very aesthetic fossil trilobite of supreme preservation.
