This is a CHOICE GRADE example of a natural assemblage of Silurian life-forms from North America - namely from the famous Waldron Shale. There is a small but impeccably well-preserved Calymene breviceps trilobite, a partial example of the rare trilobite, Maurotarion christyi, and a beautiful pyrite brachiopod with a natural bronze metallic luster. This fossil is an overall, very attractive as well as educational example of these prehistoric creatures from this era.
