Product Description
Collected from the famous Hell Creek Formation of Northwestern U.S.A., this is an offering for a single toothfrom one of the most famous dinosaurs of all time, the duck-billed dinosaurs called HADROSAURS. These teeth are from Edmontosaurus, the predominant hadrosaur species that lived alongside Tyrannosaurus rex and swift moving packs of dromaeosaur "raptor" dinosaurs. Teeth from this category will all be high quality and our pick with typical examples shown in the photos.
Each of these teeth are complete specimens that have been ejected from the dinosaur's mouth and most will feature natural feeding wear. Unlike junk spit teeth, these teeth have been lab cleaned and high-graded from many inferior quality specimens. All are carefully hand-selected for the best quality and represent an excellent value. Pictured above are some typical examples. It will be our choice as we have more than are shown but rest assured, you will be getting only a top-grade specimen.
For its astonishing array of dangerous and large prehistoric predator fossils, no place has captured more attention or has been featured on television more than Hell Creek! This area is known to many as "the Valley of the T. rex!". The "duck-billed" Hadrosaurs and the "horned" dinosaurs like Triceratops were common prey for many large meat-eating dinosaurs of the famed region. Hadrosaurs were the predominant food source of the predators of the Cretaceous such as Tyrannosaurs and Dromaeosaurs. They lived in herds and were herbivores.
