Product Description

The famous Cretaceous Kem Kem Red Beds are well-known for a host of vertebrate dinosaur and reptile fossils with teeth being the most prevalent.  Fossil bones are rare and ones that survive in a virtually complete state as this RARE specimen has, are very seldom seen.  This is a nearly complete fossil scapula of a dinosaur-era crocodile from the where giant apex predator dinosaurs such as Spinosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus once lived alongside it.  A bone of this nature is fragile and the thin plate portion is so rare to have survived in this complete state of preservation.  It has been re-assembled from only original pieces and while it has repair, no attempt has been made to restore or add any other material, preserving its scientific integrity in its anatomy.
